Live Music
Monday nights are LIVE MUSIC nights. We always have either a band or a soloist playing what we can only describe as Popular Rock, you know, the sort of tunes to which we all know the first verse and chorus if not the rest! See the DIARY for details.

FRIDAY or SATURDAY Evenings are always LIVE MUSIC nights.
Last year we ran Live Music events twice a month on either a Friday or Saturday. Now for 2010, we are filling most every weekend with a Live Band, so keep an eye on the dairy, what few weekend gaps there are we will get filled as best as possible, so EVERY weekend on a Friday or Saturday you can expect a great band line up at The Frog.

Some of the bigger bands get to play on these weekends, and we also from time to time throw in a few extra weekend dates in the Summer - these are truly great nights to be out at The Frog. We are however, still not consistent with our music dates as we keep throwing in extra dates, some to suit us and some to suit the bands, and some just because we think its a good idea - so keep an eye on the diary for details!

Sunday Lunch Times are special at The Frog & Wicket. We will entertain you with LIVE MUSIC while you enjoy your Sunday Lunch or a drink at the bar. Jazz Piano or Sax, a Jazz Trio, Old Fashioned ‘London’ Jingle Jangle Piano, a Harpist or Swing Music in the format of the famous Rat Pack amongst others.

TV
We aim to show as much sport as 'Free to Air' TV will provide. Grand Prix's (including a special GP Breakfast for the early ones), World Cup, Champions League Football, FA Cup, Royal Ascot, Cheltenham Festival, Wimbledon, Grand National, Olympics, Boat Race etc. TV is mainly kept away from the main bar where conversation and music normally take priority, and is shown on a big screen in Toads Hall.


Classic Vehicles Day - Sun 22nd Aug '10
We are delighted to present our first ever open classics day at The Frog this Summer. After a two year association with several car clubs from Morgans to Lotus & Rover, who have all lent great support to the pub, and having many a customer with an interesting car, truck, bus or bike, we are looking forward to a great day with a wide variety of vehicles. So if yours is pre-1972, and if you would like to bring it down and show it off you'll be very welcome. There will be a BBQ, Jazz, Prizes & Raffle. The event is on from 10am with coffee, soft drinks & bacon rolls available, then the bar will open at 12 with Sunday lunch and a variety of other options on offer. CLICK FOR POSTER

Beer Festival November 12/13/14th 2010
We will be holding our 2nd Beer Festvial in November this year following the the success of last years event. November has been chosen becuase its usually such a drab month that needs a little livening up, and also we needed a week (for set up & break down) when the Skittle Alley was not already booked out for functions. There will be around 16 real ales, music & BBQ / Hot Food. The event will run from Friday to Sunday. We look forward to seeing you there!

Cricket, is big at the Frog & Wicket, as you would expect with us living opposite Englands oldest functioning cricket pitch, the home of Eversley Cricket Club (founded in 1787). Top class Cricket has been played on the picturesque ground at Cross Green, Eversley for more than 220 years.


Car & BikeClubs, we are pleased to be associated with a variety of Car Enthusiasts & Motorcycle Clubs, who from time to time put us on their schedule of places to stop off, and display their fantastic cars and bikes from days gone by.We are regularly visited by SELOC (South East lotus Club), Morgans, Rover 75 Club, Harley Davidsons etc.
