You can book The Frog & Wicket for private functions, such as Anniversary celebrations, Birthdays, Private Parties, Banquet Dining, BBQ Parties, Disco Nights, Conferencing, Training Days, Club Meetings, Wedding Receptions, Christening’s, Skittle Parties, Children's Parties, Band Practice or any event large or small to suit your needs.
The Skittle Alley is MUCH more than just for playing Skittles! It has a big drop down screen and HP projector with all audio visual connections ready to take a computer link up to DVD, or Powerpoint data for those events that need it. The Skittle Alley can seat up to 40 or 50 depending on layout, and is ideally suited to cater for up to 24 at a single banquet table or 36 maximum for skittles. The Skittle Alley opens on to the front garden and Boules & BBQ area. The front garden may also be dedicated to your own private party.
We have recently renovated the Skittle Alley building, which now has a flat floor, making the room multi-functional. There is new bar dispense, cooling & cellar equipment, new lighting and the room is freshly decorated. Wi-Fi and fixed internet access are installed, as well as projection equipment for Power-point presentations and the like. There is a new i-pod station linked to our sound system which means you can even bring your own i-pod with your own tunes on if you dont want to use ours. We have now installed a Nintendo Wii, and can provide multi-player games for Wii parties as well as the occasional Pub Wii nights.
The Skittle Alley is now ideally suitable for Conferencing, Training & Group Meetings as well as Skittles, and you can request seating plan details from us showing potential layouts and uses.
Toad’s Hall sited directly next to the main bar, can seat approx 26 to 30 people dependent on layout and has its own bar, which we can provide stocked and staffed as required. The covered and heated patio area adjacent to Toad’s Hall is also available for private functions, and can seat an additional 25 – 30 people (it is permitted to smoke in this area).
Both Toad’s Hall & The Skittle Alley have their own music facilities, boasting some 16,000 tracks in the Skittle Alley, with music for everyone.
We also have the possibility and licence to erect a marquee in our large garden. Marquees and their fitments come in many different guises, so please do not hesitate to let us know what you would require and we would be pleased to submit a quotation for your specific event.
